Product Description:

Powafix Carbolineum is a ready to use wood preservative solution to be used on exterior timber for protection against fungal decay and attack by termites and wood boring insects.

Usage Precautions:

ONLY USE IN EXTERIOR APPLICATIONS. Product has a strong persistent odour. Only apply to dry / damp free surfaces. Ensure new timber is dry. Mix well before use. Toxic to birds and animals. Taints certain foods such as eggs and fats even if not in direct contact. Stain’s timber a dark brown / black that cannot be removed. Use as directed, product dries to a hard film and becomes difficult to sand. Cutting, shaping and drilling must be done prior to use.

Application Instructions:

Apply Carbolineum with a brush. Apply two coats on previously treated timber. Apply three coats on new timber. Product does not dry. Additional coats can be applied directly over previous coats. Spread rate varies 10 -12m² / L. Timber should be treated every 18 – 24 months.

Storage Instructions:

Ensure lid is tightly sealed and product stored upright. Secure product when transporting to prevent accidental spillage. Store in a cool place out of reach of children. Dispose of empty container and do not use for any other purpose. Do not dispose into common waste system. Discard product 18 months after batch date.

Safety Instructions:

Ensure cap is tightly sealed when not in use. Use product in well ventilated areas. If medical advice is needed, have product packaging at hand. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. Do not smoke or use a cell phone when using this product. Use explosion proof electrical equipment and tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not eat or drink when using product. Use suitable personal protection as required. Wear protective gloves. Wear eye protection. Wear a respirator.
